I happened to be going thru some photo while setting this new computer up and found a couple on the headphone connector. Good info for those who like making their own phones or even swapping the connectors for a pair they already have. This is the 90 connector you can buy on line and its solderless i believe. I connect it so it pointed so the cable is going over the top of the shaft when connected.
Thanks!!!i tried to make my own once..........or twice on both attempt all the components including the ear cups flew out of the window with the soldering iron😳
I got some freshly refurb by a friend of mine they are sunrise gold in Gray Ghost skin a bit like an heart transplant..........maybe i should renamed them as Gold Ghost..........

You mean SunRAY golds..... Ralphs been making them for years. He used to make some excellent inline PPers before they started putting chips in the coils. Good quality AudioSear speakers in them too. I still have a pair but the cable is gone on them and needs replaces. By the way anyone wanting to replace a cable should look at the audio extensions..... a second cable.... all ya need to do is cut off the one end and do the wiring. They are pretty durable.
Yes! corrected (wrongly) by the forum bot.Same story as mine cable was gone.........may be i could ask someone but he is in France.........
