Hi All,

I managed to get back out today with the Tarsacci on a very busy iron infested site. With a lot of our decent sites now drilled I took the opportunity to get some good practice in ready for when the good sites become available again.

Needless to say I wasn't disappointed!

The Tarsacci behaved very well and on the advice of some of you seasoned Tarsacci users I decided to keep it fairly tame.

Sens 5 mainly

Salt 25

Disc - 20

Disc mode

Trh - 4

GB 700-750

A total of 87 non ferrous targets recovered varying in size. The biggest being large lead and copper sheet, right down to a tiny Roman minim you can just see bottom right of the picture. The 3 ferrous nails you can see in the picture to the right all came out of holes with non ferrous targets which I thought was a pretty good example of the target separation abilities of the Tarsacci.

I managed to get my first hammered coin too, a rather worn but very welcome short cross silver dating to the 12th Century. I also found a nice gold Angel coin weight and a rather nice pin with a lions head decoration on it.

I can see what you are all saying about the Tarsacci being addictive. I'm certainly hooked!

Many Thanks

Appears like you had an amazing day!

Great to see the short cross Hammered, and I absolutely love that Half Sovereign/10shilling coin weight! Well done you!

Your settings aren't that far away from mine on busy sites,,, I perhaps run -5 trh,, and 6 sens, however they probably equate around the same?

Im totally into experimenting Mode now,,,, just playing with different settings and loving the experience!! :)... I am truly addicted to the Tarsacci! as I've mentioned many times before,,

Yesterday , I also had a great time, probably well Finds over 100 non ferrous items dug, ( using much higher SB &GB) ,,, targets appeared to kinda just jump out on my iron infested site,,,

Iain, keep the good work, chat soon,,

heres a couple of the best finds from my search yesterday!

Hi Dave,

I really felt at one with the Tarsacci today. It didn't take long to start to understand its language and audio nuances.

Less is definitely more for now and stabilty is certainly the key to start as you advised.

Nice finds also Dave....... 😎👍

Many Thanks
